Palm PDAs and Linux - JPilot
- Comes with some distributions.
- Desktop for Palm devices. Not fancy, slowly improving. Does the
job. It started very plain a few yars ago, and it's slowly gaining
functionality and even getting the occasional fancy graphics.
- Provides access to the 4 common databases provide with the Palm -
address book, calendar, to do list and memo.
- Also does some expense syncing, and can sync time with some
versions of the Palm OS.
- I use JPilot to grab text from the Palm to use on my Web site.
- You can use it to install software on the Palm, backup and sync
your Palm, and restore your Palm.
- You can even enter data with JPilot and have that data synced to
the Palm.
- Documentation found on home page - jpilot.org/.
