Sydney from Centrepoint 2004

[Travel]

April 2004

I've swung back a bit. The bridge is out of sight, to the right.

Moving a bit further over, we've got the Sydney Harbour Bridge in the middle, and you can see just a couple of the sails of the Sydney Opera House on the right in between the buildings.

Zoomed down onto Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Looking past the Opera House, and across the Harbour that's North. To the left is Neutral Bay, then Shell Cove. Then the very expensive Mosman Bay, then Little Sirius Cove. The big sticky out bit to the right is Bradley Head and Taronga Zoo is on the side closest us. Above that, and sticking out to the right is North Head. We used to live somewhere in that region.

At the very left you can see two of the Opera House sails. So the bridge is further to the left of there. And we're pretty much back to where we start, with Farm Cove right in the middle.

the Sydney Opera House]

This is a zoom down into Farm Cove. That little island in the middle, just to the right of the ferry, is Fort Denison.

And yes, we're back where we started and there's The Domain at the top, and Hyde Park at the bottom with the Archibald Fountain.

[Back to Hyde
Park]

And to put the whole thing in perspective, this is inside the observation deck, looking out through the glass at the views.
